Dr. Amanda Sprehe graduated from Crown Point High School, received her B.S. degree in Biology from Purdue University Calumet and her O.D. degree from Indiana University School of Optometry, all with honors. While in optometry school, Dr. Sprehe received the Dean's Research Scholarship, Crown Point Lion's Club Scholarships and the Acuvue Contact Lens Award. She served as an associate instructor, was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and completed clinical externships at Indianapolis Eye Care Center, Muncie Eye Center and Michiana Eye Center.
Dr. Sprehe joined the practice in 2009 and has completed extensive continuing education in all areas of eye health including glaucoma, cornea, retina, binocular vision, post-op Lasik and cataracts. Dr. Sprehe was an investigator in contact lens research studies here at Gailmard. She has a special interest in fitting specialty and scleral contact lenses. Dr. Sprehe is a member of the Indiana and American Optometric Associations.
